INDEPENDENT
PUBLISHING
We help business owners and leaders become bestselling authors. Our high-touch, personalized editing process ensures your ideas shine without cumbersome feedback. With tailored strategies, you can write or record just 1-2 hours a week, and we’ll guide you to a full-length book in six months or less.
Real People
We are real people. When you work with Smart Publishing, you work directly with owners, Renee and Jonathan Lautermilch. We don't send you off to a random project manager only to never hear from us again. We're also bestselling authors ourselves so we know exactly what it's like to write and publish a book on a busy schedule.
High-Tough
Service
We know our authors are busy, so we uniquely combine editing with ghostwriting. All you have to do is get your ideas out. We’ll make the end product sing without ever sending your manuscript back with “actionable comments”.
Guaranteed
Bestseller
We guarantee you'll hit #1 in Amazon's best seller rankings on your release date. We’ve done it time and time again and intimately understand the process.
Minimal Effort
We work with you on a time management strategy that works for your schedule. You can write or record for transcription for just 1-2 hours a week. When you combine that with our editing meets ghostwriting approach, we can complete your full-length book in 6 months or less.
